Ingredients
- 1 large bell pepper, halved lengthwise with seeds removed
- 5 oz Laura's Lean 96% Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 cup cooked Ben's Original Whole Grain Brown Rice
- 1/4 cup Bush's Low Sodium Black Beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup Rao's Homemade Marinara Sauce
- 1/4 cup Sargento Shredded Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Mexican
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Salt and pepper
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
- Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooked brown rice, black beans, and marinara sauce.
- Place the bell pepper halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Divide the beef mixture evenly between the two pepper halves.
- Top each half with shredded cheese.
- Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese has melted.
